QIRAZ is a multi-talented artist, producer, and songwriter of Jamaican and Saint Lucian descent raised in the vibrant cultural landscape of Toronto. Drawing from genres like dancehall, R&B, hip-hop, and afro-inspired rhythms he has developed a sound that is both dynamic and original.
He studied at Fanshawe College’s acclaimed Music Industry Arts (MIA) program, where he developed his skills as a musician. His music journey began at just eight years old with guitar and songwriting. By 16, he was producing music, and at 19, he released his first record — “Hold It” featuring Siah — created during a late-night studio session at Fanshawe’s Studio D. That same week, he performed the track live, generating early momentum for his career.
In 2020, QIRAZ returned to Toronto, releasing his debut solo single “Illusions” and producing MDRA’s “Forbes,” a standout track in the city’s underground scene. Since then, he has released multiple singles, two music videos, performed live, and dropped a debut EP, with more releases scheduled for the rest of 2025.
